The Gaulitanus Choir’s forthcoming concert tour of Emilia Romagna has been featured in the newspaper Avvenire – Bologna 7. Journalist Saverio Gaggioli reports on the choir’s concerts in Porretta Terme and Bologna and the mass at Bologna’s Cathedral and the collaboration between the Gozitan choir and Porretta Terme’s Associazione Culturale Vox Vitae. The input of the two respective directors, Colin Attard and Giacomo Contro respectively, and the Maltese Consul in Bologna, Enrico Gurioli, amongst others are underlined.
The journalist also claims that the project helps to foster further the cultural frienship between Malta and Italy, whilst highlighting the fact that the Gaulitanus’s repertoire of Christmas music from various countries will be transmitting the message that music, art and culture – particularly in this difficult time – can help unite people irrepective of their origins.
Fittingly the Vox Vitae is promoting the project as “Cantiamo il Natale”.
