GAULITANUS CHOIR IN HIGH MASS AT POMPEI CHURCH

The Gaulitanus choir this evening animated the pontifical high solemn high mass at Pompei church, Victoria, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Pompei.

For this occasion the choir sang the Giovanni Battista mass and several hymns including Jacob Arcadelt’s "Ave Maria" (pre-1568).

The mass which started at 6.00 p.m. was celebrated by his Excellency, Mgr. Nicholas G. Cauchi, Bishop Emeritus.

Afterwards the choir was treated to a small reception at the convent gardens.
