The Gaulitanus Choir kicked off their Christmas commitments with a concert at the Arkadia’s Function Room in Victoria, Gozo on Friday 12th December at 7.00pm.

During this concert the choir was accompanied as usual by its pianist Stephen Attard and conducted by its founder-director Colin Attard.

The choir presented a varied number of Christmas works, some of which also
feature in the CD “Gaulitanus at Christmas” that the choir launched during this same evening.

The concert opened up with Colin Attard’s adaptation of the Maltese traditional Christmas tune “Ninni…..Ninni”. The choir then interpreted some numbers from H. Alexander Mathhews’ cantata "The Story of Christmas". This was followed by a two Christmas medleys, one by the choir’s soloists and another by the choir and a few soloists.

The concert then ended in grand style with the choir interpreting "Christmas Chorale", a compilation of some standard Christmas tunes.
