DAY 1

The Gaulitanus Choir´s day in Paris en route to Corsica was highlighted by a courtesy visit to the HE Helga Mizzi, Malta´s Ambassador to France at the Embassy. Of course, the choir also honoured HE by a musical rendition of a Maltese excerpt. The day continued by touring around Paris and then travelling to Bastia in the evening.
DAY 2

The Gaulitanus Choir´s first full day in Corsica was spent at Cervione. Two educational sessions at the College Phillipe Pescetti in the afternoon were followed by a full-scale concert at the Sala delle Feste. A standing ovation was received.
DAY 3

The day was reserved to rehearsing for tomorrow´s Theatre Municipal for tomorrow´s concluding Gala Concert. Sightseeing and sumptuous food was also the order of the day!
DAY 4

Part 1: General rehearsals at the Theatre Municipal, Bastia, organised sightseeing tours & sumptuous food! Looking forward to do Malta proud on the big night.
Part 2: Concert de Gala in a packed Theatre Municipal in Bastia. Gaulitanus had its own slot, as all other participants, and then sang in the climactic finale accompanied by the festival orchestra. We did Malta proud … and received an invitation to return next year.
