Manon Lescaut was launched during the OPERA+ Weekend of the 2018 festival, which was headlined by the operatic production of Norma. Bellini’s masterpiece received acclaim from critics and public alike. The sets, inspired by the Ggantija Temples proved to be a most inspiring artistic touch. History was written as Norma was the first time surtitles were used in Gozo operas.
