Wed 11/5 Dramatic Women – A Year After:
A Vocal Recital English soprano Emma Darling, accompanied by Gozitan pianist Stephen Attard, will return to the festival with a recital of operatic numbers ranging from Verdi and Puccini to Saint Saens, British songs, Schubert lieder and lighter numbers. Sat 14/5 – Finale: Yet Another Go at the Musical Theatre
Fittingly, the Gaulitanus Choir, its soloists (led by Terry Shaw) as well as its guest artists (Emma Darling, Paul Barnes and Pierre Louis Attard), accompanied by Stephen Attard and directed by Colin Attard, will end the festival with a concert devoted to the musical theatre – as it has done in the last 2 editions. The programme is in 2 parts; the first featuring Loewe’s Camelot and the second Bock’s Fiddler on the Roof. The concert is being held at the Kempinski Hotel, San Lawrenz and starts at 20.00hrs.
