As has become customary the Gaulitanus Choir was involved in various carolling sessions during the run-up to Christmas.
The first, more like an informal concert, was at the Christmas Market organised by the Munxar Local Council at the Munxar Parish Centre on December 14. Two informal sessions were held at the Arkadia Shopping Complex on December 15th and 22nd. These reached a climax with rather formal Christmas Eve carolling at the Kempinski San Lawrenz, for which a sizeable audience was present.
These served as a preview for the choir’s two upcoming major commitments for the Festive Season, namely a concert of Chrismas music together with the Gaulitanus Orchestral Ensemble at the Xaghra Basilica on December 28th, and the 7th edition of A New Year’s Toast on January 1st at the Kempinski San Lawrenz.
