Gaulitanus Choir – Latvia Concert Tour 2019 | Day 1

Upon arriving in Riga International Airport following an early morning flight, the choir was met by Mr Guntis Cimins from the Foundation Sing Latvia. The choir was immediately transferred to Salaspils, where it visited Doles Island and had an open-air picnic.

Immediately after the choir left for the National Botanic Gardens of Latvia, where it gave its first performance in this Baltic state. The concert was held through the collaboration of the Elpa Choir.

After the concert, the choir could enjoy a bit the splendid gardens, before leaving for Riga. Check-in at the Riga Technical University Hotel was followed by dinner. The very long day ended with some sightseeing of Old Riga late in the evening.
