On Saturday 6th May, the Gaulitanus Choir participated in Shema – Lejl Imdawwal, a evening of varied events inspired by the Gospel, organised by the Gozo Curia.
The Gaulitanus performed 3 short concerts at the Church of Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Palm Street, Victoria. It presented a varied repertoire ranging from standard classical sacred numbers to some British ones and finishing with Colin Attard’s arrangement of Giuseppe Caruana’s ever-great “Fil-Hlewwa ta’ Mejju”.
The choir was accompanied on the organ by Stephen Attard and conducted by its musical director Colin Attard.
