The charitable event "L-Istrina" has now become a fixed event on Gozo’s cultural calendar.
This year’s edition of this annual charity event was held under the marquee at the Independence Square, Victoria on the 26th December 2009 – or Boxing Day as it is known.
The Gaulitanus Choir also gave its share towards the success of this year’s edition of this charitable event by singing Christmas Carols at its allotted slot. The choir went on stage at 8.00 p.m. and sung till 8.30 p.m.

The choir was, as usual, directed by its conductor Mro. Colin Attard.
The choir was accompanied on the keyboard by the choir’s resident organist, Mro. Stephen Attard.
For this event the choir were also accompanied by Jean Noel Attard who filled in on the violin.
