Monday 21st November was a most significant day for Gaulitana: A Festival of Music. It marked a long-awaited return to festival events for schoolchildren as part of the GauLearn educational programme. Coinciding with ‘World Children’s Day’, Year 4 students from the Victoria Primary (the “Happy School”) were treated to a much-appreciated interactive musical session at the Ministry for Gozo’s Hall by visiting French Guitarist Kevin Moindaze, no newcomer for GauLearn events. Moindaze was assisted by the festival’s Artistic Director, Colin Attard.
The session was held in collaboration with the Gozo College and the full cooperation of the head of school, Mr Lelio Spiteri, as coordinated by Paul Rapa from the festival’s GauLearn team.
