After an early breakfast, we were off to the College at Folelli where we gave a concert as part of the festival’s educational programme. The response of the students (and the teachers) was great. Lunch and some sightseeing followed. Next stop was at Bastia’s Theatre Municipal for a rehearsal in preparation for the evening’s concert. We participated in the latter alongside a string orchestra from Lyon Conservatory (France) and an Egyptian Big Band. The large audience present was extremely receptive to our performance of Maltese music, which made us all so proud!
